News About the Upcoming 90th Reunion

The next family reunion will be on Sunday, June 28, 2009, at 10:00 am. The reunion will be held at the Day
Lodge at John Bryan State Park in Yellow Spring, Ohio. You can get more information about and
directions to the park by going to its' website: http://www.johnbryan.org/  Photos from past reunions will be
added to this site at various times during the month of June and July. If you have any photos you would like to
include, please email them to Photos@reynoldsrus.org

Where In The World Is John Bryan?
John Bryan State Park is, of course in Ohio, half way between Xenia and Springfield near Yellow
Springs. It s a beautiful park which is part of the Buck Creek/John Bryan State Park Region. It is
the most scenic State Park in western Ohio. The park contains a remarkable limestone gorge cut
by the Little Miami River, which is designated as a state and national Scenic River. A portion of
the gorge itself is designated as a national natural landmark. Some of the activities you can
participate in are camping, walking and biking trails, rock climbing, picnicking, and fishing. If you
would like to stay the weekend you can choose to camp at one of their 60 sites. 50 of these
sites have electric hook up. Although the camping sites are nice the camping area does not
have flush toilets or showers. Unless you have an RV, you will have to rough it a little.  For more

90th Reynolds Family Reunion June 28, 2007

Stay for as long as you want. Just stay for lunch and the meeting, or stay for the whole event!

Schedule of Events

10:00 AM   Arrival & Set-Up
                 *  Sign In
                     *  Guess The Candy Jars
                     *  Fill out questionaire for a prize
                 *  Kid's games
                 *  Ice cream making
                 *  Social

12:30 PM   Prep for Luch

1:00 PM     Lunch & Social Time
                 *  Bring a potluck dish to serve up to 20 people 
                 *  Bring your own plates, utensils, and drinks (if you don't want lemonade) 
                 *  We will provide lemonade, cups, hot dogs, sausages, buns, condiments, and table covering.

1:45 PM     Reynolds Reunion Meeting
                 *  Distribute candy jar, and other prizes 
                 *  Collect questionaires
                 *  Review last years minutes
                 *  Discuss old & new business
                 *  Elect Officers

2:30 PM     Group Photo 

2:45 PM     Brown Bag Auction
                 *  Bring brown bags with misc. new &/or used items in it.
                 *  On the bag write a clue about what is in the bag
                 *  Write sex and age range of the receiver (i.e. Female, child age 5 & up)
                 *  People will bid on the bags ($2.00 max.)

3:30 PM     Games For Everyone
                 *  Water balloon toss
                 *  Peanut toss
                 *  Surprise new game

4:15 PM     Bingo ($0.25 per board or 3 for $0.50)
                 New Prizes and more winners!!!

5:15 PM     Close silent auction & anounce winners

6:00 PM     Dinner

6:45 PM     After Dinner Music
                 *  Sing/play along
                 *  Bring instrument or just your voice
                 *  Play or sing along with karaoke & music to entertain the family

Other games available to play all day:
                 *  Corn hole
                 *  Volleyball
                 *  Softball
                 *  Horse shoe

Don't forget about the silent auction and reunion t-shirts.
